Gingerbread Trifle
Gingerbread Trifle
Ingredients
- 1 box gingerbread cake prepared and cooled and cubed or store bought
- 2 8 oz cool whip or make fresh whipped cream
- 4 tbsp salted caramel
- box of gingerbread cookies
- 1 package instant jello pudding cheesecake flavor or vanilla I used sugar free
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
- ginger
- 2 c milk this is for pudding
Instructions

Prepare cake the day before so it’s cooled completely ( or use store bought) and cube. Prepare pudding with 2 c milk as stated on the box and add a few dashes of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. I added salted caramel to 1 tub of cool whip

Then layer however your heart desires – this is how I did it.

1/2 cubed gingerbread cake

cheesecake pudding

crushed up gingerbread cookies

HERE is where I placed the gingerbread cookies around the trifle

8 oz salted caramel whipped cream
-
rest of cubed cake
-
8 oz whipped cream
-
Decorate with extra crumbs around the outside but for the 2 gingerbread on top, if you’re serving the next day, wait to put those on.

Brian and I ate this all weekend and it was delicious. It actually tastes better the day after so you can prepare a few days ahead!
